The house wakes slowly. Before eight, the garden still holds dew and light slants from Santa Luzia. The view is simple: olives, magnolias, the low stone wall. A blackbird sings unhurried. A good moment for a first coffee before breakfast - the machine is always on in the outdoor kitchen.
